Sheffield Paranormal Investigations was founded by
Brenda Diskin and Mick Timmins. Brenda is an Accredited
/ Certificated Clairvoyant Deep Trance Medium and
Psychic. We are a Sheffield based group
of paranormal investigators who are dedicated to researching
historical buildings and anomalies to find out if
ghosts and paranormal activity really do exist. We
aim to gather documented evidence to support claims
of this existence.From time to time we conduct professionally
organised psychic investigations in various 'known
to be haunted' places using a wide range of scientific
equipment. Details will be posted to these pages.
We also help with finding lost people, pets and objects
and assist with cleansing your home or workplace of
unwanted psychic/spiritual/paranormal influences.
We will investigate any activity
that is causing anyone discomfort or concern whether
proven to be paranormal or otherwise. If you would
like a small team of investigators (3-4 people) to
come and check your property for any signs of paranormal
activity we are very happy to do this. We also have
bigger teams of investigators available for larger
buildings.
There are regular meetings with talks,
demonstrations and guest speakers.Brenda & Mick
have conducted investigations together since 2002
around Yorkshire and Derbyshire and other parts of
the country. Some of the venues visited have been
Castles, Follies and Private Residences. Prior to
this Brenda has investigated various spirit activities
in London and the South of England for nearly 40 years
and has many testimonials to confirm the quality of

We welcome serious applications from
people who would like to join us on our investigations
or from anyone who has any paranormal activity or
history of hauntings that they would like investigated.

We go on a least one investigation
a week throughout the year some are new venues and
some are follow up visits. We visit outside venues
when weather permits. If you know of any areas of
activity we would be interested to hear about them
and maybe do an investigation. We do not write reports
about all the investigations as a lot of the time
very little occurs but we do keep copies of all the
footage. Any interesting photos are posted to the
appropriate page on this website.

or meeting then its not SPI. Ask to see our ID.

are not connected to any other group but members
of other groups have often been invited to join

All new investigators
please take note: Before attempting to enter any abandoned
buildings, even if open, please seek permission from
the owner (you may be asked to sign a disclaimer in
case of accident). alternatively on site security
can be very friendly and helpful if the buliding is
not too dangerous. They will often allow you to take
pictures etc. and are usually a mind of information
about the history of the building and caa tell you
who to approach to gain access.
I would like to take this opportunity to point out that we do not
charge for anything that we do not have to pay for. We do not charge
a membership fee. We cover the cost of the website, insurance, postage,
stationary, admin, investigation equipment etc;ourselves. We sometimes
charge for entrance to a meeting, this is because we have a guest
speaker on that occasion and we like to cover their expenses. The
Ghost Hunt Nights are in places that charge us high fees as they have
to cover their overheads, staffing etc. We supply food, coffee and
tea, workshops, mediums and other entertainment to make it an enjoyable
night as anyone who has been on one with us will tell you. We expect
people to contribute towards fuel costs for lifts to and from venues
with other members. We do try to keep our prices down as far as possible.
